Things+ Addon (Machines Update Part 1) - Minecraft PE Addons

Have you ever played Minecraft survival and thought that Minecraft needs more things? if so then this is an addon for you. Things+ adds things such as blocks, ores, items, foods, mobs, and tools! This addon will work in Minecraft version 1.16

This addon adds more things as said in the title. Weapons, Blocks, animated blocks, mobs, and items. The addon is still on work in progress so there are going to be some updates.

What Is Things+?

things+ is an addon that adds things that Minecraft needs or doesn’t need.

The Addon adds things such as new ores new food and etc. 

How To Get Magic Gem

The magic ore is the main thing in Things+.

It can be turned into a pickaxe or sword. The magic ore can be found at

y level 11 and below. The ore has multiple steps before turning into the gem,

the steps are shown below

The ore drops Magic gem pieces

The picture below is what the magic gem ore looks like.

The block is as rare as a diamond ore. the gem inside the block has an animation that makes it change color.  

The picture below is the gem piece, if 9 of the pieces are collected it can be turned into a broken gem.

Each of the magic gem ores drops 1-3 of these magic gem pieces.

After collecting 9 gem pieces you can craft them together to make a broken magic gem.

after you have the Magic Gem you can smelt it to make a magic gem.

The magic gem can only be meted by a strong source heat that the blast furnace makes, so the only place it can be smelted is in the blast furnace.

SMELT IN BLAST FURNACE ONLY

Now you have the completed magic gem.

With the gem, you can craft tools and more items like the elytra.

Tools

These are the tools that Things+ adds.

Some of these tools have special powers that help you

gem pickaxe

The magic gem pickaxe is hard to craft but has a special power.

it does 9 damage and if you stand next to a stone block with the pickaxe in your hand it mines it instantly.

gem sword (15 damage)

The magic gem sword is one of the most powerful swords in Minecraft doing 21 damage when held in hand.

Bat Wing

The bat wing is dropped when a bat is killed. a bat dropped 1-2 wings.

The bat wing can be collected by killing a bat.

a bat can drop between 1-2 bat wings

The bat wing can be used to craft the elytra

the crafting recipe of the sword and pickaxe are

FLOUR

There is also an item called flour. It is crafted by putting wheat in the middle crafting slot

each piece of wheat can be turned into 3 flour.

you can cook the flour in a furnace, or smoker to make bread.

This way you can get more bread than using 3 wheat for 1 bread, but that recipe is still in the game.

There is also a food item called raw squid and cooked squid

you can get it by killing a squid. each squid drops 2-4 raw squid

you can put it in the furnace on a campfire to make cooked squid

There is also an ore called copper ore. When the block is mined it drops copper ore.

The copper ore can be smelted into copper ingots. Using the copper ingot you can make

a copper sword and copper pickaxe. The copper sword does 5 damage. 

The copper ore spawns like iron underground. A copper plate and wire can also be made.

The copper plate can be made by using a hammer on it, and a copper wire can be made using a shear on the copper plate. a hammer can be made like a sign but instead of wooden planks put iron. This copper is supposed to be used to make a computer block but that part is still work in progress, so the only way to get the computer block is by commands.

Marble block is a block that is like quarts spawning underground.

It spawns in the overworld like how an iron ore does. It sometimes can be found in caves like in the picture below.

It can be used to decorate your Minecraft builds. It can be turned into a smooth or chiseled version.

The crafting recipe for the smooth marble block is like a gold block but instead of using gold, you use marble blocks.

The Chiseled marble block does not have a crafting recipe right now.

Hides

now there are hides in the game.

instead of killing a cow or horse and it dropping leather now they drop hides

Cowhides, Horse Hides, and Pig Hides

The player can turn the hides back into leather by using the hide cleaner tool.

when you have the tool you can use it like this to clean the hides and turn them into leather!

Silver

Silver!! It can be found under the ground spawning just like iron.

The silver can be smelted to make lots of things.

With the silver, you can make a silver block.

The tools can be made like regular tools in Minecraft.

More Grass

More grass like, grass with flowers or soft grass.

The new grass types can be found spawning all around the world like grass does.

The new grass types drop a new item that is going to be useful later.

Iron Tools!!

The Iron tools now require strings to be crafted.

Grass Fiber

The grass fiber drops from the new grass that Things+ adds

The Grass Fiber can be used to make string easily.

Bones

A new mob/object is the bones. The remains of the mobs that have been here before. It spawns all around the overworld. 

Oil

Oil is found as an ore in the ground. It spawns below y 55 and can be found in groups.

after mining the oil you get the oil ore! out of the oil ore you can make the oil bottle.

The picture below is the crafting recipe for turning the oil ore into the oil bottle!

The oil bottle cannot be used for anything, but there will be a use for it in the Things+ machines update part 2!

Engine

The engine is a block that right now has no features. The engine looks like a normal car engine or at least close enough. 

The engine has a crafting recipe. It looks like this!

Batteries

The batteries are like the engine right now, they do nothing but after the machines update part 2 comes out the batteries and engines will be used something!

There are 3 kinds of batteries right now

The normal batteries

The charged batteries

The battery block

Right now the normal batteries and charged batteries don’t have a crafting recipe so the only way to get them is to do a command.

The battery block does have a recipe and it is this!

In the addon, there is some work in progress things such as the car mob that can be spawned in right now, but it is still work in progress. 

There are also some functions:

Things_Plus_Addon (Gives only you some Things+ Items)

Things_Plus_Addon_Everyone (Gives everyone in-game some Things+ Items)

Make_Nether_Portal (makes a nether portal in front of you)

End_Portal (Gives you an end_gateway block that can only be given to the player by addons)

• The flour crafting is right now broken, I am trying to fix it as soon as possible!!

you can get the items or blocks by typing in the chat /Give @a ThingsPlus: (Any Items on the list on top)

Blocks can be given to the player by the same command above. Blocks are no longer in the creative menu inventory, you have to get them using command or crafting some that have crafting recipes or some ores can be found underground.

Installation

- Mcpack download

- Click on the Things+ file and it should open in Minecraft

- zip download

- open zip

- take the things+RES and put it in the Minecraft resource pack file

- take the things+DAT and put it in the Minecraft behavior pack file
