Description:
Since Mojang insisted on keeping the Nether’s Hell biome unchangeable and always defaulted to normal when I tried editing it, I found a little bug they forgot to patch and ripped off the Nether’s roof. No more bedrock to struggle with. Travel anywhere!
For context, when you addon creators use the not well known feature of custom biomes for .mcpack files for the Nether, the game expects only one biome called “Hell” and is set to be unchangeable no matter what you put in. You can however create custom ores and structures through other means. I simply edited a setting that overrides the one and only thing they forgot to fix. BEDROCK LAYER
There is quite a big possibility this will be patched eventually as the Nether Update is drawing near in a matter of months. By then I expect biomes for the Nether will be unlocked and ready to be experimented with such as making custom dimensions similar to Mystcraft or Twilight Forest. (If it does not happen you can always pester the devs to change it. Trust me I would love that change too.)
