Minecraft But The World Hates You (Efficiency Update) - Minecraft PE Addons

I was bored one day and was watching a Fundy YouTube video. It reminded me of his impossible difficulties. I don’t want to make Minecraft impossible, but I want to cause people as much discomfort as possible. Therefore, my plan was simple. Make it feel like the world hates you. I know. Really original. Basically, this pack makes Minecraft a lot harder. I found that on my bad PC, in some cases, the game was lagging a lot. Considering that the never happens in vanilla, I realized that it was my addon … Dun Dun DUN! So, I messed around with the code, removed what was not required, and it magically doesn’t lag anymore. ENJOY!

Basics

The Wither

I started with the really basic but really annoying bits and pieces. First up, Withers. How doesn’t love a good old Wither? It’s so old we could all beat one in our sleep. How about 1 every 2 minutes? The idea here was to make it so you could not stay in one place for very long. See for yourself:

Creepers

I also made creepers … um … mitosis … um … spawn out of each other. Every 9 – 10 seconds a 2 creepers will spawn from another creeper. To avoid lag and over-population this only occurs once per creeper. You better kill these creepers fast:

Also. Some background info. In the creeper.json file, the explosion power for a regular creeper is 3. Trash. I changed it to 10,000 for a regular creeper and 1,000,000 for a charged creeper. My (bad) computer lags a lot but eventually recovers after a bit. You’ll be fine. Your house probably won’t be though. Better not get blown up:

Insomnia

Insomnia in real life is when you can’t sleep. In Minecraft – its the number of sleepless nights before the big boy phantoms come out to play. I made this 1 night to remind you kids that sleeping is always a good idea (even though a wither will probably spawn on top of you while you sleep)☻.

Annoying

Health

Now, time for the ever so slightly annoying stuff. Not fatal … if you’re smart but annoying. First up, something really basic. Your hearts have been halved. 10 HP. Ouch:

Jumping

Right. Jumping is annoying. I hate it. I can never catch jumping players in Skywars. Enough is enough. I have taken action. If your feet aren’t touching the ground (this includes swimming), you’ll lose 1 hp every tick, until they are on the ground again. With 10 HP this is way harder than it would be usually:

Food

Right. Food. You love it. It doesn’t take a few seconds to consume though. It takes forever. So. No you can still eat food. But the use duration is doubled for most foods, the hunger bars that it fills is much less. And harmful effects have become 100% on the bad stuff. Also. Golden apple’s glow while enchanted golden apple’s don’t. Just to confuse you more:

In addition to this chorus fruit now teleport you up to 100 blocks in every direction when you eat them.    

Animation + Controllers

Player

I took a tutorial/copyandpaste adoon thingy off YouTube. If you want to know where  I learnt animation controllers then go here – thanks dakonblackrose. First I wanted to add slowness to a player if they sprint for too long. Somehow – I ruined that. Really. It works at first. But after slowness was applied once, it gets applied every time the timer resets. RIP. I call it exhaustion. You get tired when your doing anything:

WOW. That image leaks what i’m about to tell you next. Fundy made you poo because somebody requested it. I didn’t make you poo (because i’m not smart enough – shhhhhhh, don’t tell anybody) but I made your inventory fill up with dirt. Annoying when you are going for that diamond:

Zombie 

I made ninja zombies … kinda. When a zombie spawns it will get speed and invisibility for 4 seconds. If you don’t look out for those swirls, you will get jumped on:

Installation

Install the pack ad-free from the download link.

The pack refuses to import on my PC, but dragging the file into the behavior packs folder worked for me. Enjoy the pack...
