Welcome Back, Illusioner! - Minecraft PE Addons

With this addon, You get to meet an abandoned mob head-on. And that mob, Is non other than the Illusioner, An unused type of pillager. Re-created to closely resemble the original concept.

Well, This addon will introduce the Illusioner.

A new Pillager type, It was found in the files of minecraft java as a cancelled mob idea.

So, The point of this addon is to re-create it, And give it purpose:

Illusioner:

Health: 200
EXP: 500
Drops: 1 enchanted golden apple – 1 – 50 emeralds 
Spawn area: It will rarely spawn in roofed forest biomes. (Can be spawned manually using a spawn item.)
Enemy type: Boss – Pillager – Summoner
Stage: recommended to be fought with diamond gear and friends.
Damage type: Shoots many modified shulker bullets (More on this later.)
Damage count: 1
… what?

Okay okay, You’re probably confused so here is an explanation:

The Illusioner doesn’t just shoot modified Shulker bullets the whole fight, You see,

The Shulker bullets upon impact spawn fake decoys of the boss that do all the damage.

This is what actually makes the fight interesting, As you now must Identify which one is the real boss and which are decoys off to kill you,

The longer you take, The more spawn and the more you’ll likely die.

After about 20 seconds, if you don’t actively fight them off, You will definitely be overrun.

Being near water is not recommended for this fight, However, Fighting with friends is highly recommended.

(NOTE: This addon permanently changes shulker bullets in order for the addon to work. So if you wish to explore end cities, Now shulkers will shoot these modified bullets which spawn Illusioner decoys and do not levitate you. Please keep aware of this.)

You get it now? Well, Here are the decoys:

Illusioner Decoy (Fake Illusioner):

Health: 10
EXP: 0 Drops: drops:
Drops: Nothing
Spawn area: Comes from modified shulker bullets
Enemy type: Minion
Stage: Can be 2 shotted by weapons of stone or above.
Damage type: Melee (Close range)
Damage count: 5

As mentioned, If you don’t take fight these decoys, They will overrun you.

Illusioners are rare to find in roofed forest biomes, So instead, You can create a spawn egg for it:

Mysterious Orb:

This orb is a spawn for the boss.

It is an item that can be thrown like a trident, And where it lands will be the spawn area for the boss. It is heavy so It will drop to the floor quickly when thrown, be careful!

This mysterious orb can be crafted with:
– 4 Enderpearls
– 1 Totem Of Undying
