Description:
A weighted pressure plate is a block similar in function to regular pressure plates, except it outputs a varying redstone signal strength depending on the number of objects on it. The weighted pressure plate comes in 2 variants, a light version (gold) and a heavy version (iron). The light version emits a stronger redstone current for every entity upon it. It reaches maximum signal when it has 15 entities upon it. The heavy version emits a stronger redstone current for every 10 entities upon it, rounded up. It reaches maximum signal when it has 141 entities upon it. Both mobs and dropped items trigger weighted pressure plates, though only distinct item entities will count separately - for example, dropping 3 cobblestone on a gold pressure plate will briefly output a signal strength of 3, but the signal will quickly drop down to 1 when the three items are merged. The following table will show how many mobs/items should be on pressure plate to output a signal of certain strength:Stats:
