Description:
Just a few days ago it was announced that three biomes in Minecraft will be updated with new features and attendees of Minecon will be able to vote which they want to see updated first! The biomes which will get an update are deserts, taigas and savannahs. Some of the new features include new mobs such as Meerkats and Ostriches but also also stuff like new trees and bushes. This is a concept add-on which is based on these new features.

How does it work?
Desert Biome:
- Meerkats! They live in deserts, and even if you attempt spawning them somewhere else they will instantly die in that biome.
- New Trees! As custom models for blocks aren’t yet a think for Minecraft these blocks replace the Shulker. They entity spawn egg is called Berry Bush and can be used for spawning this biome specific tree. However, they might also spawn randomly in deserts.
Taiga Biome:
- Foxes! These cuties replace Wolves and you can find them spawning randomly in Taiga biomes.
- Berry Bush! The Berry Bush is a biome specific bush which will also spawn here. You can shear them (with Shears) to get berries. The berries are edible! The Berry Bush takes 10 minutes to grow.
- Campfire! Nothing is better than a setting up a campfire with some friends after a tough night of adventuring in Minecraft. This is currently an entity which can only be spawned by summoning a Zombie Villager.
Savannah Biome:
- Ostrich! Ostriches are two-legged birds which replace Chickens. They can be used as rideable mounts!
- Baobabs! The Baobabs are giant trees which which Creepers!
- Termites! These ones are similar to spiders but much, much smaller and they attack trees!
