Description:
I heard from a friend about the ‘Australian’ language setting that Minecraft used to have and as an aussie myself, I thought why not recreate one for bedrock?
So thats practically what I have done. I basically just went through the English language file and changed it to give that Aussie feel to it.
Here are some of the things that is in this pack:
– Furnace -> BBQ
– Inventory -> Backpack
– Bed -> Swag
– Overworld -> Land Down Under
– Chicken -> Chook
– Village -> Big Smoke
– Cake –> Pavlova
– Steve -> Bruce
– Turtle -> Crocodile
– Some others that you will have to find for yourself
I have also replaced all of the loading word hints with common sayings to have a laugh about.
There are some parts that I tried to get working but couldn’t make work. These include renaming the achievments and making ever sentence in chat end in ‘mate’ but I will try and fix that for some other time.
Making this pack was a lot of fun so I want to continue working on it and I may add new splashes to the title screen and maybe some item textures.

There are two links attached. One adds a complete new language for the language settings that you can choose and the other just replaces both the American and British languages.
The first one would be better to use cause it allows you to swap between normal English and Australian. The second would be for if you have a server for you and your mates and you want them to have the texture too.
If you choose the first one, you will need to have it as a global resource before you can change the language.
This has only been tested on 1.16 for Windows 10 so I'm not sure how it will work otherwise, but I don't expect too much difference.
